Frequently Asked Questions

  • Telemedicine refers to the remote delivery of healthcare services through telecommunications technology. Through telemedicine, patients can consult with healthcare providers, receive diagnoses, prescriptions, and personalized treatment plans from the comfort of their own homes, using video conferencing, phone calls, or secure messaging platforms.

  • All of our listed services are offered through telemedicine. When lab work is needed, you will simply head to a designated Lab Corp draw station near you to have your blood drawn. The results will then be sent directly to us for review and interpretation.

  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is often recommended for individuals experiencing hormonal imbalances, typically associated with conditions like menopause or low testosterone levels in men. Common symptoms indicating that HRT may be indicated include hot flashes, inability to gain or maintain muscle mass, mood swings, fatigue, reduced libido, and difficulty concentrating.

  • HRT is a medical treatment used to supplement or replace hormones that decline due to aging or medical conditions. It is often prescribed to alleviate symptoms associated with hormone imbalances, such as menopause in women or andropause in men, aiming to restore hormone balance and improve overall well-being.

  • Treatment starts with a free consultation to discuss your current health concerns and goals. Then we order a comprehensive set of labs to fully evaluate your current health status as well as to identify if you are an appropriate candidate for HRT. A follow up appointment will occur once lab results are available and we will give you a customized recommended treatment plan. Medications are shipped directly to your door. • We offer compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide for injection that is delivered straight to your door. Both of these medications have been shown clinically to reduce food cravings and help you feel fuller longer, making it easier to choose healthier, more nutrient dense food choices to help make your weight loss journey easier. We offer our clients dietary guidelines based on the most recent evidence. No more counting calories!

  • Both are medications originally developed for managing type 2 diabetes but they have also been found to be effective for weight loss. They work by mimicking the action of a hormone called GLP-1, which helps regulate blood sugar levels and appetite. By stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain, semaglutide and tirzepatide help reduce appetite and increase feelings of fullness, leading to decreased food intake, better ease in choosing more nutritionally dense food options, and ultimately weight loss.

  • Individual results will always vary, but on average, patients who combine healthy food choices, moderate exercise most days of the week, and semaglutide or tirzepatide treatment typically see a 1-3 pound weight loss each week. In studies such as the STEP trials (Semaglutide Treatment Effect in People with Obesity), participants lost on average between 12-15% of their initial body weight over the course of the study. Tirzepatide results shows participants losing 15-20% of their body weight over a period of several months while using tirzepatide in combination with healthy lifestyle interventions.
